Happiness Calculation
Happiness is a critical metric in City Builder Expert. It is determined by the balance of building types within the city, each contributing equally to the overall happiness score. Players must ensure that their city has a good mix of amenities, pollution control, employment opportunities, and crime reduction to maintain high levels of happiness.
Happiness Formula:
The happiness score is calculated using the following formula: Happiness=(Amenity+Pollution+Unemployment+Crime)
Amenity: Buildings that improve quality of life (e.g., Houses, Hospitals).
Pollution: Buildings that reduce pollution (e.g., Parks, Fire Stations).
Unemployment: Buildings that create jobs (e.g., Schools, Airports).
Crime: Buildings that reduce crime (e.g., Police Stations, Stadiums).
If the player’s coins are less than the required amount at a certain level, happiness will not increase. The player must manage their resources effectively to maintain or improve their city’s happiness.
Happiness Management:
The game alerts players when specific building types are needed to maintain or improve happiness. For example, if the amenity score is low, the game may prompt the player to build a new school or library.
